ERTC Energy Efficiency conference, Brussels – A review of efforts being made to meet EU targets & how they will be affected by the turnaround in energy policy on the supply strategy of refinerie
Global Technology Forum is delighted to return to Brussels for the 5th ERTC Energy Efficiency conference.
Energy efficiency initiatives are in many ways critical to the long term survival of many refiners in OECD countries. Faced with higher energy costs, lower refining margins and CAPEX restrained operating conditions, refiners are seeking innovative ways to remain globally competitive and meet tough new legislation in order to comply with their environmental obligations.
Europe is leading the way in this field, demonstrating where margin and energy consumption improvements can be achieved. Refiners from beyond Europe are also realising the benefits and the competitive advantage that can be gained from processes and technologies that increase a plant’s efficiency – including those refiners not governed by such restrictions.
Participants at the ERTC Energy Efficiency conference will benefit from the experiences of global refiners and how they are meeting their various challenges in the context of energy efficiency.
